The Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation assigned the category K1 to the Ural Mathematical Journal 

At the session of the Journal Editorial Board on March 18, 2019, it was decided to publish (from that date) in the Ural Mathematical Journal only scientific papers not previously published in the domestic or international editions, regardless of the language of publication.

Until March 18, 2019, the policy of the Journal allowed (by a special decision of the Editorial Council) the publication of full translations into English of papers published previously only in Russian.

The Scopus review of the Ural Mathematical Journal  is completed on March 11, 2019  and the Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) has advised that the Journal will be accepted for inclusion in Scopus. Within the next three months  the Journal papers indexing process for Scopus will be initiated. 

The Ural Mathematical Journal   is included now in DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals, https://doaj.org). 

The journal Ural Mathematical Journal  is included in VAK.

The journal Ural Mathematical Journal is included in MathSciNet (Mathematical Reviews).

The journal is indexed in Russian Scientific Citation Index of the Russian Universal Scientific Electronic Library.  A full version of the journal is freely available on via the Electronic Scientific Library.
